Hitting Production Targets with Visible Data
Most data collection discussions today focus on the analysis of data in the cloud or the edge for future operations improvement. But did you know that, by making data visible to operators, the same technologies used to collect and analyze data for future improvements can be used to drive process improvements on a day-to-day basis? Steve says having the ability to use production data in this way—in a production environment where processes with frequent variations require frequent adjustments to stay on target—has proven to be critical in maximizing performance and minimizing costs and waste.
