What's the schedule for The Automation Conference?

Tuesday, May 22 - Breakfast, tabletop exhibits and registration run from 7:00 until 8:00 am. Sessions take place from 8:15am until 5:00 pm, with lunch served midday, and tabletop exhibits open throughout the day. An attendee cocktail reception will be held at the Hilton from 5:30 until 7:00 pm on Tuesday night.

Wednesday, May 23 - Breakfast, tabletop exhibits and registration run from 7:00 until 8:00 am. Sessions take place from 8:15 am until 3:00 pm, with lunch served midday, and tabletop exhibits open throughout the day.

How is this conference related to the Packaging Automation Forum (PAF)?

As producers of the popular PAF, we have expanded and renamed this event, to offer information for packaging professionals, plus those in manufacturing and processing. This year's event offers three tracks: Packaging Automation Forum, Manufacturing Automation Forum, and Processing Automation Forum.

Are you offering the Make2Pack and Connect-and-Pack Workshop this year?

This popular Workshop is now part of the packaging track, and is included with your regular registration fee.

How much does it cost to attend?

Will there be a discounted hotel room block available?

Yes, discounted rooms are available at the Hilton Rosemont by calling 888-452-6943 and informing the reservationist that you would like to make a reservation under the Group Code: AUTO. You may also book online by selecting the Rosemont Hilton hotel at Hilton.com and entering the group code in the field under 'Special Accounts: Group/Convention Code.' All reservations must be booked by Monday, May 7, 2012 to ensure availability of the discounted room rate of $139 (plus tax) for a single or double room. What is the refund policy?

Cancellations received before May 1st, 2012 will receive a full refund, less a $100 USD processing fee. Cancellations received on or after May 1st will forfeit the registration fee. Please note that registered attendees may make substitutions online at no charge, up to 48 hours in advance of the event.

Will there be transportation to the conference hotel?

Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare is pleased to offer complimentary shuttle service between the Hotel and O'Hare Airport from 4AM until 2AM daily. The shuttle departs from the Hotel/Motel Shuttle Bus Center located at O'Hare Airport.
